An anonymized string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

Published text: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded data (EXIF GPS) included. Customers accessing the site can download and extract any data location from images on the site.

Cookies

Published text: If you leave a comment on the site, you may provide your name and the site’s email address in cookies. This is to help you avoid having to re-enter your information multiple times when you leave another comment. This cookie will be saved for one year.

If you log in to the site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser allows cookies. This cookie does not include personal information and will be deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to save your login information and display choices. The most recent login information is saved for two days and the option to display the most recent save is for one year. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal information and only includes the ID of the post you edited. It automatically expires after 1 day.

All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit that information.
